“Working with this misunderstood, underestimated community has brought my nursing and mama hearts together.”

Hi, I’m Amie.

I have walked the road you’re on.

I have twenty-seven years of pediatric and neonatal nursing experience, and I’m certified by I-ASC (International Association for Spelling as Communication.

I’m passionate about advocating for healthcare improvements for people with communication and sensory differences. I do this by educating hospital and clinic staff and developing educational presentations.

I love to teach, learn, and advocate for the misunderstood, underestimated, marginalized population of extraordinary humans in our community.

I’m a mom to a proud, confident, and gifted nonspeaking Autistic son, who inspires me daily to stay the course.  He communicates through spelling out every word, letter by letter, and his efforts on the communication path will ultimately pave the way for nonspeakers after him.

I love gardening, cooking with restrictive diet challenges, and the Florida sunshine.

I’ve been where you are, and I can help.

You don’t have to stay on the exhausting merry‑go‑round of trial‑and‑error.

A proven path—and a caring guide—are here to help.

CLIENT TESTIMONIALS

More than my mom, more than a friend.
My safe place, my support.
Rarely a day goes by when I am not in awe.

Your strength and your smile carries the family through the unknowns.

Together, anything is possible.

I love you.
— My son, Cooper
Amie Ferguson of InfinityS2C.LLC came into our lives a few years ago as our son’s CRP. Our son, Anthony, was 31 at the time with full body apraxia and lots of motor loops. Ms. Amie has proven to be patient, kind with a full knowledge base of how to get Anthony warmed up to become semi open on the letterboard with only limited access to Anthony. We have learned so much about our son and continue to be excited as we explore Anthony’s thoughts, feelings and wants with the help of Amie.

Amie is not just a Communication Regulation Partner but she has also become our friend.

The Orlando Letterboard Community has provided a safe space of understanding with a presumption of competence and provided us and our son with wonderful friendships and opportunities for further development .

We are forever grateful to Amie for taking on our son as a client and opening up his world.

My family’s experience with Amie has been AMAZING and MIRACULOUS! I love this woman! She has had such a profound impact on my son’s life and our family’s. Amie has opened up an entire world for my son that we never knew was possible. She exhibits so much patience with him.

I refer to her as “The S2C Whisperer!” I’m in awe each session and I love watching them work together. I never want them to end.

S2C and Amie has changed us forever and has given us so much hope for a brighter future ahead.

Thank you Amie for changing our lives forever. We love you!

Amie is truly one of the best. We’ve been working with her for the past two years. Our son started S2C at the age of six, and it’s been a journey well worth taking. Through her commitment, compassion, and ability to create a safe and supportive environment, our son has been able to push past limitations and show just how much he understands and is capable of.

We’re incredibly proud of how far he’s come. It brings such comfort knowing your child is in a space where they feel fully seen, supported, and free from judgment.
